WILD BOAR HUNT

WILD BOAR HUNTING INSIDE THE DELTA,

This wild boar hunt which we want to present you is unique,full of adrenalin and only suitable for very brave hunters.The organization of the hunt,his specific methods,the local beaters, the difficulty of the terrain, the skills of the local dogs have to be in a perfect coordination to obtain the final success.
THE WILD BOARS WERE NEVER FED BY HUMANS
The boars live in the thatched patch of reeds on floating islands near the solid ground islands covered with abundant vegetation.The terrain is extraordinary difficult with very dense vegetation.According with the wind direction and the movements of the boars we build the LINE.
The LINE is build by the beaters who step on the compact reed ,putting it down.The line is only 2 metres width and the length is as long as the distance between the two lakes that border the floating island. The hunters sit in front of the crossing places of the boars,where they normaly toddle.

The visibility is poor,in some cases is reduced to only 3-4 metres due to the density of vegetation.
The wild boar either is coming on a speed run chased by the dogs but also very slowly(almost like a wid cat),precacious and then very quickly run and cross the line.
An the beaters run is compulsory to participate two local hunters which know very well the terrain and have a lot of experience,to lead the dogs.
Bear in mind that the dogs cannot be stoped but only in the moment when the boar is gunshot.
Some of the old big boars accept the fight with the dogs on the long run and they are shot by the hunters on the run.

On the line, the hunter have to react very fast,because he is shooting only in between 3 to 10 metres.
If the boar is just hurt then the dogs will finish the job and the hunter assistant will kill the beast.Ussualy during the day we do 1 run and if there are wounded boars that crossed the hunters line then we do in the same day the second return run.
The hunters will use only shotguns with breneke,carabines not being suitable for this type of hunt.

THE RECOMMENDED PERIOD FOR THIS HUNT IS BETWEEN 1 DECEMBER TO 31 JANUARY

Another adventure is the fact that we will be accommodated on a 4**** star floating hotel,on which
we will navigate in the Danube Delta.All meals will be served in the restaurant of the hotel.In order to

have an excellent hunting trip we will do also duck and geese hunt during our holiday.

PROGRAM

Day 1 Arrival at Bucharest airport and transfer to Tulcea-the gateway of the Danube Delta

Dinner and accommodation on the floating hotel.

Day 2 Early breakfast and ducks hunting on the lakes from the vecinity.Around noon time will be

back at our hotel and while we are having lunch, we navigate towards the heart of the delta.

Dinner and instructions for the wild boar hunt.

Day 3 Breakfast and whole day wild boar hunt.Pick –nick.Dinner on board.

Day 4 Breakfast and geese hunt in the morning.Lunch.In the afternoon we can shot some pheasants

or just relax on the floating hotel.Dinner on board.

Day 5 Breakfast and whole day wild boar hunting.Pick-nick.Coming back to our floating hotel will

navigate back to Tulcea.Dinner on board.

Day 6 Breakfast and transfer to Bucharest airport.
